FAQS

What does the Hemp do?

We use Hemp for three main reasons.
A) Healing and moisture.

We use Hemp in our skin products for its healing and moisturizing properties. Hemp is rich in Vitamin E and Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids. Vitamin E provides moisture, while Omega acids help with healing. All our salves and soaps include either Hemp seed oil or Hemp hearts, and our soap is made with Hemp milk, similar to traditional animal milk soaps.

B) Aromatherapy.

Aromatherapists often use hemp for relaxation. By adding a small amount of hemp seed oil to our fragrance blends, our candles help calm you and your space. Customers frequently tell us they love that our candles don't cause headaches like other stronger-scented candles do. This is due to the hemp seed oil and our use of quality fragrances and essential oils.

C) De-stigmatization.

To clarify:

Hemp comes from the male cannibus plant and is cultivated for it’s fibers and oils.
The psychoactive uses for the canibus plant come from the flowers of the female plant.

Males and females are separated to prevent contamination, ensuring hemp is free from THC or CBD. This allows females to be grown for it’s… more specific purposes. Growing them together would harm both crops in terms of yield. Thankfully, this isn’t a metaphor for humans.

Our products contain no THC or CBD. We use the same hemp seed oil and milk found in many grocery stores. Higher production costs for hemp come from licensing, building requirements, and competition from imported oils, which have made it easier for farmers in other countries to grow hemp.

Hemp farming is making a strong comeback in the USA, showing a rising appreciation for this useful crop. Unlike ‘weed”, hemp is carefully grown to have no THC and no CBD, making it suitable for thousands of uses beyond recreation.

From a farming perspective, hemp is a great rotational crop that boosts soil health and fertility, which is essential for good farming practices. It requires little water, making it ideal for drought-prone areas, allowing farmers in various climates to benefit from it.

Hemp is easy to grow, often needing less pesticide use, which adds to its attractiveness. Farmers are discovering its economic benefits, as hemp can be used to create sustainable materials, textiles, and wellness products, especially in skin care and aromatherapy.

As the industry develops, the focus on new ways to use hemp, especially for making high-quality hemp-infused products, shows its potential as a key player in sustainable agriculture in the USA. This growth emphasizes the need to support methods that are environmentally friendly while addressing market needs.

Will it get me high?

I, Quincy, have eczema and sensitive skin. Working as a farmhand during Covid, my hands chapped, legs turned red, and the itching was relentless. After many trials with many recipes, I found hemp milk made excellent soap. It improved my eczema, cleared my partner's acne, and left my hands moisturized without dryness. My sister even called it “the best makeup remover ever”. We set out to create the best candles and soap, representing hemp and fulfilling our duty to help ourselves, our customers, and US hemp farmers.

So that’s our basic philosophy, create the best product we can, then make it even better with Hemp.

Are you single?
